Traveling through the area and I was starving. Stopped at this restaurant and WASN'T DISAPPOINTED! The portions were really large and the food was very delicious. Wish I could have made it to the buffet because it sounded delicious but the dinner was totally worth the price. I honestly thought it was incredibly fair pricing and will absolutely go back. The steak go ba was ridiculously tasty and my friends and I loved it. The ribs and special fried rice is to die for. You literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Drove down to Espanola from Taos after reading reviews. It was a Saturday, posted that they opened at 12:00 pm. Approaching restaurant (12:05 pm) we noticed people waiting outside.12:20 pm we walked away. They still hadn't opened. No sign stating closure. Good idea to call before you stop.

The food is good and usually very fresh. The owner will never give an inch, you will pay for every bit of what you eat and regardless of circumstances or loyalty to the establishment their is no appreciation. Buffet is often limited but the best bang for your buck!

Really impressed. Last time we had Chinese in Espanola we swore we would never do that again. But we were super hungry and saw the great reviews for Shanghai so took a chance. Everything we ordered (chicken and veggies, beef and broccoli, and shrimp something) were really good. Even rivaled some ABQ spots. Would definitely go there again!!

Yet another Asian cuisine review...are you sensing a theme here? No big mystery, I'm an Asian chow hound of every variety. Again, on work travels, here I find myself in unfamiliar food territory and looked to fellow Yelpers for inspiration for lunch. This is one of two Chinese eateries in town and the one with the best reviews. Went for lunch buffet. Very clean and friendly place. Simple decor. Smaller buffet, but decent selection and obviously a popular place, based on parking limitations. Tempura veggies were a nice touch, decent spring rolls, with spicer-than-usual (in a good way) sweet & sour for dipping. Chicken wings were OUTSTANDING. Riblets not too bad. Entrees, one beef & veg and one chicken, were okay, though a bit heavy on the oil. The rice noodles are definitely one of my faves. Didn't bother with the lo mein, since the rice noodles were more interesting to me. I'd definitely try it again but try the menu versus the buffet. A pleasant surprise for me in Espanola. :)
